Some days ago this article appeared in the blog „Elder of Zyion“. Not for the first time referring to the outrageous actions of UNWRA staff members, who thru Facebook, Twitter openly and directly are spreading anti-Semitism.
Nasreen Hamoud, allegedly teacher at UNRWA in Jordan, published this picture:
This picture, which is provoking an entirely wrong impression, reminds of the old blood-libel lies, notoriously directed against Jews. This picture is even more shocking, as it has been published at the same time with pictures of a refugee child who drowned while fleeing from Syria to Europe. He had no one protecting him, he was fleeing from the henchmen of the IS or other Jihad. Governments and organizations supposed to protect the child, failed.
Instead of aiming attention where the human catastrophes are getting worse daily and while its consequences in meantime reached Europe, the UNO and its sub-organizations turn away and are looking at Israel.
Chris Gunness, UNRWA speaker for Palestinian refugee matters, twitters about the incident of August 28th, when a soldier of the IDF has been viciously attacked from members of the Palestinian Tamimi family, as follows:
Significantly is, that the following comment does not entirely refuse but mildly reverts, that a comparison of men and animals is not unproblematic. Meanwhile this tweet obviously is removed.
The same day Gunnes is reverting to an article by Amira Hass of Haaretz, which is as usual tendentious and dishonest.
Mohammed Abu Staita, allegedly staff member of UNRWA, is presenting a caricature of the stereotype of a Jew hiding behind a tree, who is betraying him to a hurrying Palestinian.
This subject reverts explicitly to article 7 of the Hamas Charta, which in turn reverts to the Hadithe „The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: ‚Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,‘ except for the Gharqad tree, for it is the tree of the Jews.“ (Recorded in the Hadith collections of Bukhari and Muslim).
How would you express anti-Semitism more precisely?
Ramy Alshorbasy, he too a teacher at one of the UNRWA schools with a joint website of UNRWA staff members in Syria choose the emotionally highly positioned theme of babies and toddlers.
Chris Gunness resumed and appalled immediately by Twitter. On UN Watch recommendations for prompt action, to close these UNRWA schools and to discharge the staff members and teachers concerned, Gunnes replied with dripping mock:
Concluding, for the sake of recording it clearly, the entire UNRWA slum is financed and sustained alive mostly by us, the taxpayers of the countries listed.
